5th Street- Under and Over

I started at Cabrillo on 5th and headed back up the street towards the YMCA Canyon and came back around to go over the Bandini Bridge. While the area under the Bandini Bridge is quiet, its kind of dangerous for pedestrians. Lots of blind curves for drivers not to see you walking. I’ve learned a lot on SPBXB in respect to being a pedestrian. You seriously have to walk the streets as if the cars are out to get you. Even if a car is approaching an intersection, you have to act like its going to plow through a stop sign. It helps to make eye contact with a driver before crossing the street. It sounds a little paranoid I know…but you have to stay vigilant because people aren’t paying attention – nobody walks in LA, remember.
